Founded in the Netherlands, based on the intensive care needs of one of our founders, Happyhomecare was born from the vision to provide high-quality, personalized home care, tailored to the unique needs of each client.
Our journey began with the realization that traditional care models often do not adequately address the individual and emotional aspects of home care.
We saw an opportunity to create a care service that not only provides medical and physical support, but also a warm, personal approach that significantly improves the quality of life for our clients.

Establishment and Mission
In October 2013, the ICCA Group, trading as Happyhomecare, was established. The goal was to provide intensive, personalized care in clients' homes by live-in caregivers. The focus was on creating a safe environment where individual care plans and goals were central.
First Steps and Growth
The first client was a family member of founder Alex Wijnen, highlighting the personal drive behind the company. Happyhomecare grew steadily in the early years, reaching a significant milestone in 2015 when Aida, the current care director, joined and further shaped the care structure.
Development of Care Structures
Happyhomecare navigated the complex healthcare legislation in the Netherlands, including the Health Insurance Act and the Long-Term Care Act. The organization specialized in WLZ care through a Personal Budget, emphasizing a personal approach and customized solutions.
